Theda Vern Caldwell Miramontes

Theda Vern Caldwell (Wills, Brookshire) Miramontes, born May 5, 1926, in Cushing, Okla., migrated to the Phoenix metro area as a young woman with her new daughter, Larraine Lou. Her sons, Ronald Glenn and Stanely Oren Brookshire, were born there. After her children were grown, she lived many years in Oregon, returning to Arizona and settling in Dewey with her husband Nabor Miramontes.

Early in the morning on March 29, 2013, she lost her long battle with Alzheimer's, passing away quietly in her home. As well as her husband and children, she will be missed by her eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Her love of her family will always be remembered. She will rest in peace at the Pioneer Cemetery; the ravages of a cruel disease are no longer torturing her.

Visitation is from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, April 5, 2013, at the Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel, corner of Navajo and Valley roads in Prescott Valley. The graveside service is at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6, 2013, at the Arizona Pioneer Home Cemetery on Iron Springs Road in Prescott.

You are invited to log onto www.ruffnerwakelin.com to sign Theda's guestbook and share a memory with the family.

The Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel assisted the family with the arrangements.
