Bradshaw Lady Bears roar back after spring break

The Bradshaw Mountain softball ladies came back strong after spring break, downing Chino Valley 18-8 Monday afternoon.

Winning pitcher Terra Stults went the distance, striking out 5 and walking 4 while allowing 9 hits.

Bradshaw bombarded the Lady Cougars with 19 hits.

Kristen Jensen scored 5 runs on a 4-for-6 at-bat. Karrah Stults went 4-for-5, with a double, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.

Tia Randa was 3-for-4 with 2 runs scored, and Dymond Balderrama hit 3-for-5, including a double and a triple, and scored 3 runs.

The Lady Bears played host to the Camp Verde Cowboys yesterday, after the Tribune's press time. Friday, Bradshaw heads to Coconino, and Saturday, Mingus Union comes to town for an 11 a.m. game.
