The Prescott Badgers more than defended their home football field Friday with a 49-7 blow-out of the Bradshaw Mountain Bears.

The home team scored 21 points in the first quarter, doubled that in the second, and just kept adding on as turnovers and penalties plagued the Bears.

The game went to a running clock as the fourth quarter began.

Employing four quarterbacks on the night, the Bears compiled 231 yards of offense while its defense held the Badgers to 208 yards. Daniel Otero completed 3 of 11 passes for 51 yards.

Shane Sorrells contributed Bradshaw's only touchdown on the night in the first quarter. He compiled 17 yards on one pass reception and 84 yards rushing on 18 carries. Colton Audsley rushed 11 times for 49 yards.

Casey Huntley contributed 35 yards on two pass receptions.

Bradshaw, 6-2, dropped from No. 9 to No. 12 in Division III, while Prescott, also 6-2, is at No. 10.

In the regular season's final contest, Bradshaw hosts Mohave this Friday at 7 p.m.
