Lonesome Valley Playhouse brings the timeless classic "The Wizard of Oz" to Prescott Valley. More than 50 performers take part in this classic play directed by Tamee Niekamp.

Performances take place Fridays and Saturdays, May 2-3 and 9-10, at 7 p.m. and matinee performances on Saturdays, May 3 and 10, and Sunday, May 4, at 2:30 p.m. Two school performances take place at 10 a.m. on Fridays, May 2 and 9.

All performances will be at the Prescott Valley United Methodist Church, 8944 E. Sommer Drive. Tickets are on sale now at $12 general admission, $10 seniors, and $8 students. Call Clyde for more information at 928-583-4684.

These pictures do not even capture the wonderful set work behind the curtain and the rest of the cast- I saw this play and it was absolutely beyond what I expected plus more- if you want to re live the Wizard of Oz this is one AMAZING AMAZING show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
